Part-Time Job for High Schooler "Hack Researcher"

The "Hacking the Archive" project at MIT from last month
has led to a job opportunity for the right METCO student!

Hacks & Maps is a 6-week summer research opportunity for Boston-area high school, college, and graduate students to design, research, and present a civic education project to the public. If you know a student who thinks history is interesting, but knows that the history books don't tell the whole story, pass this job to them before school lets out!

July 8th-August 12th
30hrs/week for 6 weeks, $12/hour

  • Learn the behind-the-scenes stories of METCO's beginning
  • Teach racial justice, public education, and community organizing history to youth and adults
  • Use technology and creativity to share stories that matter
