Join Us for Family Fest 2021 - Week of Virtual Events (6/14-6/17)


Family Fest is an end of the school year celebration for ELE & METCO students and their families. This year's event will be held virtually on the week of June 14th and will feature arts & crafts, magic, a puppet show, a live animal show, and music with DJ! Please see below for the event program. 

No need to register ahead of time. Zoom link and meeting details will be sent out to all families before the event. Anyone is welcome to join as we bid farewell and welcome summer!

Monday, 6/14 (6:00-7:00 PM)

Make a Zine!

Let’s make a zine out of a piece of paper and then design, collage, draw, and write a story to fill the pages.

The Magic of Jason Purdy 

Magician Jason Purdy will present a magic show featuring amazing magic, live animals, mindreading, silly fun and more! The show is interactive and he might even call on you to assist him! He will even share some fun secrets with you. Video links will be provided.

The Joy Art Project 

We are celebrating the joy of Juneteenth, graduations, and the start of summer! We’ll bring feelings of hope and happiness into our artwork. MassArt Art Museum (MAAM) educator, Ms. Doggett, guides us through artmaking techniques to express emotion through mark making, color, and pattern.
